Welcome to Signals BI. Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using our services or accessing our platform.

By accessing or using Signals BI’s website, services, or tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all the Terms, you must not use the platform.

Definitions

“Platform”: The Signals BI online platform, including any associated software, tools, data, or insights.
“User”, “You”, “Your”: Any individual or entity accessing or using our Platform.
“Services”: All features and content provided by Signals BI, including but not limited to BI dashboards, analytics, and data insights.

Use of Services

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use the Services.

Access

Your access to the Platform may be subject to subscription plans, data restrictions, or usage caps, as detailed in our forthcoming Terms of Sale. Unauthorized access or use is strictly prohibited.

Permitted Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:

Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code.
Use data or content (including images) obtained from the Platform for resale, redistribution, or any use beyond the Platform’s permitted purposes without prior written consent.
Interfere with the Platform’s operation or attempt to gain unauthorized access.

Intellectual Property

All content, branding, materials, and data available on the Platform, including but not limited to BI dashboards, analytics, insights, and images, are the intellectual property of Signals BI or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. This includes:

Licensed Images: Images used on the Platform may be licensed from third-party providers (e.g., stock image platforms like Shutterstock or Getty Images) or used under Creative Commons (CC) licenses, subject to applicable licensing terms (e.g., attribution requirements, non-commercial use restrictions). Users must not reproduce, distribute, or modify these images outside the Platform’s permitted use.
Data: Data presented in dashboards includes open-source data from government sources (e.g., public property records) and proprietary data collected by Signals BI’s data entry team. Signals BI has the right to use and display this data for Platform purposes.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform’s content and data solely as permitted by these Terms. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Platform content (including images or data) without express permission.

Data and Privacy

Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. We may collect and process data about you and your usage for analytics and service improvement, using cookies and similar technologies. Signals BI maintains appropriate administrative, physical, and technical safeguards, including SSL encryption and GDPR-compliant hosting, to protect your data.

Third-Party Services

The Platform uses third-party services, such as Google Analytics (for analytics), Stripe (for payments), and Google Big Query (for data processing). These services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies, linked in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party service providers.

Disclaimer

Signals BI provides information and insights for general information purposes only. Data presented on the Platform, including open-source government data (e.g., public property records) and proprietary data collected by our data entry team, is sourced from third parties or generated internally. We do not warrant that the data or insights will be accurate, complete, or fit for any specific purpose. Decisions made based on Platform data are your responsibility.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Signals BI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to data loss, business interruption, financial loss, or misuse of licensed images or data by users.

User Accounts

If the Services require account registration:

You must provide accurate and complete information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You are liable for all activity under your account.

Modifications

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website with a revised “Effective Date.” Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct such as violating these Terms, engaging in fraudulent activity, non-payment of subscription fees, or misuse of Platform content (e.g., licensed images or data). Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

Force Majeure

Signals BI shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these Terms due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, cyberattacks, or third-party service outages.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. You may also seek alternative dispute resolution for minor issues, details of which are available upon request.
